Boldsquare was asked to work with a relatively newly appointed chief executive officer at a consumer products public company with a market capitalization of around $2 billion, to help him enhance his communication to the board as the business navigates significant global expansion.

The company’s board had a number of different factions within it, including some directors who had been associated with the company for twenty years as well as others who had only joined in the last year or two. Despite the company’s financial success, there was little alignment between directors on the optimal strategic direction forward for the business, as well as a culture that had led to significant distrust between the board and its leaders.

Boldsquare’s team worked with the new CEO to develop a comprehensive communications approach that helped better align directors with the strategic approach of management and drove buy-in for important new initiatives to help the business move to the next level in its growth. Based on the success of the CEO/board relations program, Boldsquare was asked by the CEO to develop an employee cultural and communications transformation program to strategically align the company’s work force with the CEO’s vision for growth.
