Dylan Jones


Dylan Jones headshotDylan has over twenty years’ experience in strategic communications roles at leading global organizations, with extensive experience of mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, strategic positioning, complex litigation, executive transitions, and industry disruption.

Prior to founding Boldsquare, he was Chief Communications Officer for Scripps Networks Interactive, the parent company of media brands including HGTV and Food Network. In his role, he was responsible for the development and supervision of strategic integrated communications programs for one of the world’s leading content companies. His responsibilities included reputation management, investor relations, employee communications, government relations, and marketing and creative services.

He previously held a series of roles in London and New York for EMI Group, one of the world’s leading music and media companies, rising to lead corporate communications for the global business. His tenure included strategic management of a number of high profile projects, including the biggest corporate bankruptcy in UK history, the launch of the Beatles’ catalog on Apple’s iTunes platform, and the demerger of the business in 2012 and its sale to Universal Music and Sony/ATV Music Publishing. He strategized and implemented internal and external communications programs for all key stakeholders during an intense period of corporate and industry change, as well as leading crisis management planning, briefings, speeches and presentations, corporate social responsibility, and corporate social media.

Jones also spent time in key roles in Europe with MTV, VH1 and Music Choice, having started his career as a journalist in London. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cambridge, England.
